WARRANTY CONDITION OF BORCH INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE

1. Warranty Regulations:

Warranty period will be effected from B/L date as follows:

• a. General parts of machine: 14 months;

• b. Feed cylinder plastic components: 1 year;

• c. Variable displacement pump: 2 years;

• d. Tie bars: 2 years;

• e. Three platens of clamping unit: 5 years;

• f. Computer main board: 2 years;

• g. Toggles: 2 years;

• h. Toggle pins and toggle bush: 18 months.

2. Warranty will not be covered under the following condition:

• a. Using unclean lubricating oil and hydraulic oil;

• b. Using metal or hard nonmetal materials in plastic raw materials;

• c. Using plasticizing corrosive material or material containing fiberglass with nitride screw;

• d. Leakages from oil seal and hydraulic device due to not enough cooling water which causes higher temperature.

• e. Machine damages, such as broken & rusted parts, caused by improper maintenance, unstable voltage.

• f. Damage of mould clamping holes due to excessive clamping force;

• g. Damage of heater bands due to high cylinder temperature setting, i.e. exceed 350 degrees temperature.

• h. Machine platen warranty will reduce to 2 years if off-centre mould is adopted.

• i. Broken hydraulic system parts due to improper hydraulic oil, which should be chosen according to ISO VSG 46 &NAS 9 anti-wear hydraulic oil;

• j. Broken machine toggle part due to improper lubrication oil, which should be chosen according to ISOVSG 220 lubrication oil;

• k. Refitting machine without Borche’s approval and authorization;

• l. Disassembling controller and pump without Borche’s approval and authorization;

• m. Machine parts broken due to force majeure;

• n. Machine warranty is out of expiry;

• o. Spare parts damaged by misoperation.

Should any other warranty items and service be added, actual cost will be subject to final confirmation.

3. Transport Promise:

The damage, caused by force majeure during transportation, will be compensated by insurance company.

4. Operating Requirements:

•a. The barrel temperature must reach to the setting temperature before materials plasticizing;

•b. The minimum screwing length of the mould clamp screw must be 1.5 times of the diameter of the mould clamp hole.

5. Transport cost of replacements:

Replacements less than 10kg will be sent by express or by air; replacements over 10kg will be sent by sea. Pictures of broken parts or other proof should be provided for our reference. Any problem happened under warranty, Borch is obligated to send replacement without charge, while all charges outside China are for customer’s account

6. Remark

If machine problem is induced by non-human factors during warranty period, replacements will be provided for free, of which transport cost is subject to clause 5.
